No experience is required at all! Both Dance With Grace and Strength in Motion classes are designed to be accessible to complete beginners, returning active adults, and seasoned athletes alike. Emmanuel guides every session step-by-step, keeping movements clear and pacing the class so you can comfortably move at your own speed.
We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting activewear or clothing that lets you stretch and bend freely. For safety, support, and stability, please wear closed-toe athletic training or running shoes.
No, you do not need to bring any equipment. Our exercises focus on calisthenics, natural mobility patterns, and bodyweight training. Any mats, blocks, or support props required for specific exercises are provided directly at the session location.
Absolutely. Emmanuel is a registered Professional Kinesiologist and believes that movement is a customizable personal journey. He monitors each participant throughout the session and provides tailored adjustments, alternative joint angles, or complete modifications to match your current comfort level and physical range.
Your safety is our top priority. If you have a recent or chronic injury, please mention it to Emmanuel before your class starts. Given his background working alongside physiotherapists and rehab specialists, he will modify movements to ensure you can train safely without straining injured joints or tissues.
Emmanuel has specialized kinesiotherapy experience supporting individuals with cardiovascular conditions, neurological conditions, and metabolic needs. By combining clinical precision with movement training, he can adjust parameters (like intensity, duration, and balance assistance) so you remain secure. Please share any details with Emmanuel prior to the class.
Yes, older adults are highly encouraged to participate! In particular, our Strength in Motion series focuses on healthy aging, active balance, core strength, and joint mobility, which are excellent for helping older adults maintain functional independence in daily life.
