My Story
Welcome to a space built on safety, guidance, and mutual growth. I invite you to take me alongside your journey and we can walk together.
I believe that structured, supportive movement is for everyone, not just competitive athletes.
Growing up, active play and sports were my foundations. They taught me firsthand how physical capability builds self-confidence, mental clarity, and connection. I founded Elevate Mind & Motion to bring that realization to others, especially those who might feel out of place in conventional gym environments.
I invite you to take me alongside your journey so we can walk together. You don't have to navigate this path alone. Whether you are recovering from a clinical health event, managing a chronic condition, returning to exercise after years away, or active in sport—we will work step-by-step to build your strength and movement confidence.
My appreciation for movement quality, functional mobility, and injury recovery was born on the wrestling mat.
Through years of competitive wrestling at the national and international levels, I learned exactly how far the human body can go when trained correctly—and how quickly it can break without proper joint maintenance. Representing my team and finding success at the 2022 Pan American Wrestling Championships remains one of my most cherished athletic milestones.
This rigorous background taught me that high-performance training and clinical recovery share the same core values: patience, core stability, and progressive recovery. I translate these athletic lessons directly into my classes to help you move safely and preserve your joint health for years to come.
I combine academic research in precision medicine with certified clinical kinesiotherapy and athletic coaching.
I am a licensed Professional Kinesiologist through the Alberta Kinesiology Association (AKA), a member of the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP), a CSEP Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CSEP-CEP) candidate, and NCCP Certified. I am also currently completing my Master's degree in Precision Health at the University of Calgary.
The values at the heart of every session:
Working alongside medical specialists to ensure a seamless, supportive transition back to active living.
I actively collaborate with physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, healthcare providers, and clinical researchers. This combined clinical perspective ensures that the programs we design at Elevate Mind & Motion are medically safe, anatomically sound, and aligned with your ongoing treatments.
My experience helps me safely modify exercises for individuals navigating cardiorespiratory, neurological, or musculoskeletal limitations, giving you the confidence that you are moving in a safe, controlled environment.
I have extensive practical experience adaptively modifying movement patterns for a wide range of individuals and conditions:
Creating supportive spaces where movement fosters genuine confidence and community.
Elevate Mind & Motion is built on community integration. My goal is to foster a warm, inclusive space where we celebrate small victories and support one another.
By establishing these guided group sessions, we empower those who may feel overlooked in mainstream fitness centers to rebuild their strength and range of motion alongside peers who share a similar commitment to health and longevity.
